The World-Famous DUB FX returns to the Hook, Line & Thinker podcast that he and co-host DJ D-Phoenix launched last Fall on Neo RetroFM!
The resident DJ was one of a group of music industry people from around the globe who viewed a new platform for Dub FX in late May of this year. The event was the first time that the DJ and Dub FX had the chance to catch up since the Australian recording artist's departure from the show in early January.
During the taped event for Dub FX's new project, the podcast was mentioned, and DUB FX was enthusiastic about picking it up again.
The return of the show's amazing co-host is still being scheduled at press time. Stay tuned for details!

The station's resident DJ D-Phoenix was granted an interview with THE BLOW MONKEYS' frontman DR. ROBERT in early June 2021.
The Blow Monkeys were one of the British bands coming into the public eye on the New Wave-era timeline in 1981.
It wouldn't be until their hit singles "Forbidden Fruit" and "Digging Your Scene" hit music charts worldwide in 1986 that American audiences had much exposure to one of the U.K's early sophisti-pop bands!
They haven't quit releasing music all these years, and their current material surpasses their earlier work.

GHOSTER, an alternative rock band formed in Seattle, Washington in 2017. Founded by lead singer and guitarist Erik Spicer and bassist Brent Durst, the boys went through a succession of drummers before recruiting Nick Schultz in 2019, and adding an additional guitarist, Mark Marsden in 2020. The band incorporates Punk, Grunge and Classic Rock that makes for an amazing Indie Rock band you won't want to miss! The band's influences growing up include an interesting array of bands like Nirvana, Tom Petty, The Cars, Buzzcocks, David Bowie, Mudhoney, Bob Dylan and the Grateful Dead... just to name a few! In the wake of Covid19, the new and improved quartet look forward to releasing their first album together, self-titled "Ghoster" in 2021.

TRIP 21 aka Season 3
THE GROOVE ZONE's NEO RETROfm (Oly WA) made it to its third season of streaming 24/7 modern music programming to the world at large! What A Trip it's been! After weathering a rough start to 2021 with low audience numbers, and the tragic death of rap artist Dominick Travers (aka QUASAR STARR) in February, the DJ crew pulled itself out of the mid-winter slump to a better run as the year has progressed. With listeners averaging in the hundreds now, it's time to put some radiowaves to the test and embark on a new season! TRIP 21 will officially begin its new format change on Saturday August 7th, bringing non-stop Trip-Hop magic by Portishead, Tricky, Lamb, Sneaker Pimps, Alpha, plus experimental entries by INVISIBLE ARGYLE SWEATER and HEAD STASH (both of Aberdeen WA), and many many more! TRIP 21 is already shaping up to be another stellar season of music programming like "THE SESSIONS w/ DJ D-Phoenix", a variety show of sorts, featuring LIVE DJ sets and Special Guests, which currently airs its video edition on the 3rd Saturday of each month, and the six scheduled monthly airings conveniently at 7 am & 7 pm on the 7th, 17th & 27th. Season 3 also sees the return of the station's anchor shows "LOCALS ONLY", a local/regional music showcase 4x a day (1a, 5a, 1p, 5p*), and "AMANDA JANE's THE DARKEST HOUR", a spooky true story anthology series narrated by Amanda Cariker of the band FORGET ME NOT! "THE JOE CHAT SESSIONS" is back with cool segments from our interviews with some of alternative rock's royalty every night at 10 pm, and finally "HOOK, LINE & THINKER: ARCHIVES" is the condensed version of the podcast originally co-hosted by Australian recording artist DUB FX and the resident DJ D-PHOENIX, airing weekend nights at 11 pm. All times are Pacific time.

ADAM WYATT
THE YOUNGEST RAP ARTIST SO FAR
18 year-old ADAM WYATT, of Aberdeen, Washington, was one of the featured new artists at the Grays Harbor Rocks concert event in August 2021. With a handful of music tracks on Spotify, this quiet rapper happened to hit this radio train at the right time.
Some of his songs can be heard on rotation during the locals only program, and on The Quasar Starr Show on Neo RetroFM (Oly WA).
